INTO THE BOOK - " THE CATCHER IN THE RYE" by J.D. SALINGER

The Catcher in the Rye has been a recent read, making it to my top favourites. The Catcher in the Rye was first published on the 16th of July 1951, making it indispensable in 20th-century literature. The story involves the ideas of teenage rebellion and the pains of growing up, however, this book can connect with the readers regardless of the differences in the timeline.  The main protagonist Holden Caulfield who is also the narrator describes variegated events happening in his life taking place over two day period. Caulfield is sixteen years old and gets expelled from Pencey prep school in Agerstown, Pennsylvania. Implicit details for the character show that there is an abyss of sadness and constant changes in moods, at the end his feelings cause him to be in tears. There are numerous times in the book where Holden states that he is depressed proving the inner feelings that affect him. The character shows a lack of academic sincerity leading him to fail in classes and get expelled...

LOVE IS BEYOND LOGIC...

  LOVE IS BEYOND LOGIC… Love is an intriguing theme discussed by us in our daily life. It is surrounded by us and waiting for people to approach us with their feelings to showcase their support in the form of only one global emotion – LOVE. It could be the love of our friends, family or partners who wish to get attached with us and make our days special and enduring through challenges.  Let’s address the elephant in this article, “ WHY IS LOVE BEYOND LOGIC?”. I am certain there are people who are completely unequivocal about love being “ just scientific and it’s all in our brain”. I agree there is a scientific explanation behind our lust, desire and attraction, but the intention to make others happy and content in all our relationships even through the hard times is beyond logic and pragmatism.  “Love is merely a flow of energy, it connects and transforms us according to our needs and stays in us throughout the function of our life.
