“If You Want to Gather Honey, Don’t Kick Over the Beehive”. Life is an explicatory peregrination, that is filled with fragments of emotions like joy, love, sadness that is combined with the deeds that we do. But we as humans are travelling in the dimension of time that is ephemeral. But one day when you look back, it needs to be filled with memories that you adore and the same deeds that have caused an impact.
Let’s look at the insight of Chapter One of Part One. Looking at humans were created with an inbuilt tendency to blame others but not “thyself”. Not taking the blame or accepting one’s fault, is the same characteristic present in all hardcore criminals like Al Capone, Crowley and Albert Fall are examples given in the book. To understand criticism more profoundly, think about them as horning pigeons that return to you no matter what. We all expect things from certain people that can be better work output, friendship or love. Before you want to see any change from someone else, try to decipher yourself and make changes. Doing this is comparatively profitable and relatively less frightening. With the change in time, you will see the changes that you were expecting more prominently.
People will always attack you in some way or another, but things depend on how you deal with them, there is the option of just criticism, condemnation and complaints isn’t this what all fools do. Look at great leaders like Benjamin Franklin - “I will speak ill of no man and speak all the good I know of everybody". A pivotal lesson over here is that we are tackling creatures that are composed of emotion, prejudice and most importantly motivated by pride and vanity. The new approach should be trying to understand and figure out the actions and reasoning behind them this results in better sympathy, tolerance and kindness (which can also create bondage).
Taking into consideration, I want to include the quote of Thomas Carlyle – “A great man shows his greatness by the way he treats little men”, just don’t criticize, condemn or complain think a new way through.
